My plein air tree painting is still evolving. Today I worked on creating more space within the painting. And I added more texture and interest to the trees. Here are a few images of the painting along the way. I’ll work on it again at least one more time next week.

Plein Air on a warm day
Today was so nice! It’s warm, not windy, and I enjoyed painting the pretty sky. In fact, I enjoyed painting the sky so much that in this painting I think it totally out does the land. This painting is 42X24″ and is changing and evolving all the time. I haven’t shown the whole thing yet because it hasn’t come all the way together. I’m hoping it eventually will!
