I’ve spent some more time working on parts of Morning Paper. I worked on her hand and outstretched arm. I wanted her hand to look relaxed and feminine and I feel like I got it there. Morning paper-progress

More progress on the stuff in the living room. Next I’ll work on her skin/hand/face. I need to let all the white dry so I can bring up the light higher in value. And let the background dry so I can glaze it and push it back and bring in some color.

This one was a pleasure to paint from beginning to end. Originally I drew this scene in pulled way back so you could see 2 surfers as well, and the girls and wave were pretty small. Progress!

Cabin Warming Gift

Today I gave the Barn in Winter Landscape to my cute friend as a cabin warming gift and she absolutely loved it. Tears in her eyes loved it. It made my day.
