Here’s a new and different (for me) figure painting/portrait.  I have been working away at getting paint all over it today.  There’s quite a bit of work to do pretty much all over it but I’m happy with the start and that I figured out a nice way to frame the image.  

Here’s where I’m at today.  I blocked in basic skin tones with mainly 2 values of light and dark.  I also worked some on the foamy water that the girls are standing in. I started the wave in my Kids on the Beach painting today.  I have the basic colors and shapes blocked in.   I’m excited to see it coming together!

Finally I have something started!  It’s been busy here since the arrival of Mr. Puppy.  He is a great, smart, lovable dog, but my word I AM TIRED!
