I went out and painted Ref Cliff’s today in the Boise foothills. The painting is small, loose, and abstracted. I was trying to just catch the colors of the hills more than render it exactly. That was hard for me, and I felt unsure about it. But then my friend came over to buy a few of my little painting, she’s going out of town and will miss my sale, and she bought Red Cliffs, and 5 more of my little paintings! Woo hoo!
