I’m so happy with how this colorful abstract turned out. As with every painting there were many changes and revisions of color and composition along the way. Each change brings adjustments all over the painting, which adds layers, texture, depth, and richness that can’t be achieved any other way. I used so much paint!

I could probably safely name all of my paintings from the month of March… “Fear.” However, the painting my daughter is working on should be titled “Joy.”

The start of this painting was purely abstract with no subject in mind. There is still no subject in mind, but as I painted I started seeing things.
