Here’s my painting so far. Looks like he was tougher looking in my drawing. It’s still a work in progress. I’m wondering if I should add more people back there on the beach doing things. And I’m on the fence about the arm tattoos.

Looking good so far but I also noticed he’s lost a little of his initial toughness… hmmm I see his jaw and chin in the painting is a little softer and more rounded and his arm isn’t as muscle-y?

He’s softer for sure! For a while he was flat out chubby with skinny arms and legs.

You’re doing a really good job then! In my experience drawing and painting men is quite difficult.
